Tissue Retrieval Pouches

The detachable Tissue Retrieval Pouch is indicated for use as a device for the capture and removal of resected tissue during laparoscopic surgery.
Anatomy suitable for these devices includes: Appendix, Gall bladder, Ovary, Fibroids, Lung, Prostate Gland, Kidney, Lymph Node, Spleen, Large Colon, and Omentum.

Features and benefits include:

• Viral Barrier testing of the polyurethane pouch has qualified that that no viral penetration occurred over a 24 hour period of test. This performance mitigates against the risk of port site infection and carcinoma seeding during specimen containment and removal.
• Transparent pouch allows tissue visualisation
• 230mm long / 10 mm outside diameter introducer for insertion via 10mm or greater diameter laparoscopic port.
